Welcome To The Friendship Club puts you in the shoes of Jin, a regular student who somehow gets invited to the ultra-prestigious Kanoi Academy where geniuses hang out. Plot twist: you end up running the “Friendship Club” and suddenly you’re on the same level as all these academic superstars. Makes zero sense, but that’s the fun of it.

The game mixes typical school hijinks with romance options and some surprisingly heavy emotional moments. ZorniteB knows how to write characters that feel real, even when the setup is pretty ridiculous. The whole “average person thrown into elite academy” thing has been done before, but the execution here is solid.

Fair warning though, this leans heavy into the drama side of things. If you’re looking for pure comedy, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you don’t mind some feels with your friendship simulator, this one’s worth checking out.
