Path Of Sorrow And Pleasure throws you into a fantasy world where things get pretty dark pretty fast. You play as Roderick, an adventurer trying to figure out what this mysterious evil force is all about while the world basically falls apart around him.

The game mixes heavy stuff with lighter moments, so you’re not just grinding through doom and gloom the whole time. Roderick picks up companions along the way who actually have personalities and backstories instead of just being generic party members. Your choices supposedly matter for how things play out, which is always nice when it’s done right.

It’s still in early development, so expect rough edges. But if you’re into story-heavy RPGs with party management and moral choices, this one might be worth keeping an eye on.
