Re: puts you in Morikawa’s shoes when he finds out his family is moving to America in just ten days. This 2006 visual novel from FlyingShine tackles that universal teenage fear of leaving everything behind, but with a supernatural twist when a deity decides to meddle with his life.

The story hits different because Morikawa isn’t some confident hero. He’s just a regular guy who wishes he had a girlfriend but thinks ten days isn’t enough time for anything meaningful. The game explores what you’d actually do with that countdown hanging over your head. Spend time with friends? Try to find love anyway?

At 20 hours long, there’s plenty of content here. The fan translation is solid and the Japanese voice acting adds authenticity. Fair warning though, this one’s got adult content with mosaic censoring. If you’re into character-driven stories about making the most of limited time, this overlooked gem is worth checking out.
