The story hits different because it starts with you already at the top instead of climbing your way up. Your boss basically raised you after your dad died, so when he asks for help, you’re stuck between loyalty and self-preservation. The writing does a solid job making you actually care about these relationships before everything goes sideways.

Fair warning though – the main love interest gets shared no matter what you do, but future NTR stuff is completely optional based on your choices. Definitely worth checking out if you like stories where success doesn’t guarantee happiness.
