Hounds of the Meteor v2026-06-05 (English)

Hounds of the Meteor mixes side-scrolling action with adventure game elements in a pretty unique way. DogFactory is still working on it, but the concept sounds interesting if you’re into games with adult themes.

The gameplay bounces between beat-em-up style combat and story sections where you pick dialogue choices. Think old-school brawlers meets visual novel mechanics. The fighting heroine setup focuses on defeat scenarios and monster encounters, so you know what kind of game this is going for.

It’s still in development so expect some rough edges, but the hybrid gameplay approach could work well if they nail the balance between action and story parts. Worth keeping an eye on if this type of game is your thing.
