Escape From The Future throws you into a pretty dark sci-fi scenario where one bad choice lands you stuck in Misantria, a hidden high-tech city run by some seriously ruthless women. The setup alone should tell you this isn’t going to be your typical escape game.

What makes this interesting is how the game handles consequences. That initial bad decision isn’t just backstory, it shapes everything that comes after. The city feels genuinely oppressive and the tech elements add some nice atmosphere to the whole thing.

Ariestra did solid work here creating a world that feels both futuristic and claustrophobic. If you’re into games where your choices actually have weight and don’t mind darker themes, this one’s worth checking out.
