Charmed drops you into the shoes of a broke young guy who gets kicked out and ends up in some nowhere town trying to rebuild his life. The setup is pretty straightforward but it works.

You’ll run into his ex-girlfriend who’s running a café, deal with hotels that won’t hire him, and meet a librarian with some interesting secrets. The main goal is turning a crumbling pub into something profitable, which is harder than it sounds when the whole town seems against you. The writing feels natural and the characters have actual personality instead of just being cardboard cutouts.

It’s early in development but shows promise. If you’re into story-heavy games about starting from rock bottom and clawing your way up, this one’s worth checking out.
