The Spiriting Away of Saooni Village drops you into a fantasy world where your family’s fortunes hang by a thread. You’re stuck on a crumbling estate called Arundel, dealing with broken wagons and dusty fields until a mysterious letter from the Academy of the Ascendant shows up.
The writing hits different here. You can feel the desperation as you work alongside Old Thomas, and that moment when the crimson-sealed letter arrives actually gives you chills. It’s only 15 minutes long but kasasagi knows how to set up atmosphere and make you care about what happens next.
Fair warning though, this feels more like a strong opening chapter than a complete experience. The world-building is solid and the characters feel real, but you’ll definitely want more by the time it ends.
