The Only Doe 0.03 (English)

The Only Doe puts you in the shoes of Madd, a girl stuck in a really messed up living situation with her stepfamily after losing her mom. The setup is pretty heavy but compelling – basically her stepfather and stepbrother are making her life hell, so she decides to escape and chase her dream of becoming an engineer.

The twist is that Madd has to disguise herself as a boy to get into a boys-only dorm since she’s broke and has nowhere else to go. It’s like a survival story mixed with identity themes. The game starts at her house while she’s planning the whole escape, so you get to see the buildup before everything goes down.

Still early in development but the premise is solid if you’re into story-heavy games with real stakes. Cross-dressing survival isn’t something you see every day in games.
