The First Gods puts you in the role of a mysterious deity guiding a small tribe through brutal early civilization. This grimdark strategy RPG hybrid from Kaspeli doesn’t pull punches when it comes to showing how harsh primitive life can be.

Your tribe will face famine, wars, and wild beasts while you’re busy dealing with rival gods trying to mess with your plans. The cool part is how your followers’ reactions to your decisions slowly shape what kind of god you become. Their fear and faith actually change your character over time.

The game blends city building with RPG elements pretty well. You’re constantly making tough choices about whether to help your people directly or let them struggle to build character. Early access but already shows solid potential for strategy fans who like their games on the darker side.
