The Ares Fall GAME
The Ares Fall puts you in the sandals of the actual God of War after he gets his ass kicked by Wonder Woman back in 1918. Yeah, that Wonder Woman. Now it’s 2013 and Ares is still licking his wounds, trying to figure out how to get his divine mojo back.
The revenge plot is pretty straightforward but works well enough. You’re basically working your way back up the power ladder while deciding how much chaos to unleash along the way. The game gives you choices about how to handle situations, which keeps things interesting. PhantomaX did a decent job with the mythological angle without making it too heavy-handed.
If you’re into mythology-based stories with some bite to them, this one’s worth checking out. The premise is solid and the execution feels polished enough for what it is.
