Secret Island drops you into the role of a sorcerer-mercenary who gets shot and washes up on a mysterious island after a betrayal gone wrong. The locals who save you seem nice enough, but something feels off about this place. Nobody can leave, magic seals block off sections of the island, and everyone’s being weirdly secretive about the other residents.

The setup is pretty solid for a modern fantasy game. You’re basically stuck on this island trying to figure out what’s going on while building relationships with the women who live there. Some aren’t even human, which adds an interesting twist. The mystery elements keep things engaging as you try to uncover why you’re really there and what everyone’s hiding.

NocturnalDev has built a decent foundation here with the whole “trapped on a magical island” concept. If you’re into games where uncovering secrets and developing romantic relationships go hand in hand, this one’s worth checking out.
