Saving Paula GAME
Saving Paula tells the story of Paula Honeybottom, a former soap opera actress who gave up her career for love, only to get dumped after 20 years of marriage. Now she’s starting over as a single woman, and you get to guide her through this new chapter of her life.
The game focuses on Paula rebuilding her confidence and exploring new relationships after her husband Dick (yeah, really) ran off with someone younger. You’ll make choices about her career, social life, and romantic encounters as she rediscovers herself. The writing has some decent humor, especially around the whole “Dick was actually a dick” situation.
It’s pretty straightforward adult visual novel stuff from XTZ. If you’re into story-driven games about second chances and older characters getting their groove back, this one hits those notes well enough. The pacing is solid and Paula is actually likeable as a protagonist.
