Royal Switch puts you in control of two women whose lives couldn’t be more different. The story follows a sheltered princess who gets kidnapped by thieves and a street-smart peasant who suddenly finds herself running a kingdom. Both characters are dealing with situations way outside their comfort zones.

What makes this interesting is how the princess has to learn what real life is like outside the palace walls, while the peasant has to figure out how to lead people when she’s spent her whole life just trying to survive. The writing focuses on whether these women can adapt to their new roles or if they’ll just become pawns for other people’s schemes.

The character development seems solid based on the premise. If you like story-heavy games that explore themes about power and social class, this one’s worth checking out.
