Rental Cam throws you into a story that starts simple but gets complicated fast. You’re unemployed, broke, and then an old college friend shows up looking completely different than you remember. She’s got a job offer that sounds too good to be true.

The setup hooks you right away. Your friend has changed dramatically since college, and the mysterious work she’s offering comes with plenty of red flags. The game does a good job building tension around what this job actually involves and how it might change you as a person.

B.August knows how to write dialogue that feels natural, and the moral choices hit harder than expected. The characters have depth beyond the surface level, and the consequences of your decisions stick around. Worth checking out if you want something with actual substance.
