Overlord H Plus R2 (English)

Overlord H Plus drops you into a classic “trapped in an MMO” scenario that actually works pretty well. You’re stuck in YGGDRASIL after the servers were supposed to shut down, except now all the NPCs are acting like real people instead of programmed scripts.

This is a remake of the original Overlord H, and Winterfire clearly put some work into polishing things up. The premise hits that sweet spot between power fantasy and mystery as you try to figure out what the hell happened to the game world. The NPCs developing consciousness creates some genuinely interesting interactions you don’t see in most games.

If you’re into the whole “overpowered character in a new world” thing, this scratches that itch nicely. The writing is solid and the scenarios feel more thoughtful than your typical power trip game.
