Alyssa and Conrad think they’re just staying with relatives after an earthquake, but things get complicated fast when they move in with Conrad’s step-aunt Stacey and her husband Roger.
The game lets you switch between different character perspectives, which is pretty cool because you get to see how everyone’s motivations clash. Roger’s dealing with memory issues and other problems from a recent accident, while Alyssa and Conrad are trying to keep their marriage together. What starts as innocent help quickly spirals into much darker territory.
Your choices actually have weight here. You can try to guide the characters toward redemption or watch them make increasingly bad decisions. The multiple POV system means you really understand why everyone does what they do, even when they’re being awful.
