Luciene’s Life GAME
Luciene’s Life drops you into the most mundane setup ever and somehow makes it work. You’re playing as Luciene, a 40-something woman who gets stuck babysitting her friend’s three grown kids while said friend goes gallivanting around Europe for months.
Here’s where it gets weird though. The game lets you spend entire days doing absolutely nothing productive. Want to do laundry for 20 minutes? Go for it. Feel like sunbathing? Sure. Take a long bath? Why not. The catch is that someone’s always potentially watching, or you might catch them doing their own thing. It’s this strange voyeuristic slice-of-life thing that shouldn’t be as engaging as it is.
BoneForSoup basically made a game about existing in a house with other people, and all the awkward tension that brings. Not for everyone, but if you’re into slow-burn domestic drama, this hits different.
