Jail College mixes prison drama with college life in ways you probably haven’t seen before. You’re playing as a guy who got locked up for stealing food to feed his family, which is honestly a pretty solid setup for feeling sympathetic toward the main character.

The twist is that you can join this experimental university program behind bars. So now you’re answering actual trivia questions to progress through your studies while trying to romance various women around the prison. The trivia element is kind of cool since your actual knowledge affects how well you do in the game.

It’s an adult visual novel so expect plenty of steamy content mixed in with the story progression. The whole “knowledge is your key to freedom” concept works better than it sounds on paper. Worth checking out if you want something different from the usual dating sim formula.
