Inheritance b15 (English)

Inheritance throws you into a pretty heavy moral dilemma right from the start. You inherit your great uncle’s mansion and discover he kept two women as slaves, Anna and Eve, who are still living there when you arrive.

The game centers around how you choose to treat Anna, a traumatized 21-year-old, and her younger sister Eve, who’s been sheltered from the worst of their situation. You can either be a complete monster and continue the abuse, or try to help them heal and build something better. The choices feel weighty and the characters have distinct personalities that make your decisions matter.

Fair warning though, this deals with some seriously dark themes around slavery and trauma. Not for everyone, but if you can handle the subject matter, the branching storylines and character development are solid.
