Hungry Mermaid Cruise 0.2.5 Public (English)

Hungry Mermaid Cruise is a roguelike deckbuilder that actually puts effort into the little details. The devs hand-crafted everything and it shows. Every single action has its own animation, which sounds small but makes battles way more satisfying to watch.

The avatar customization goes deeper than most card games bother with, and the transformation mechanics add a nice twist to standard deckbuilding. You’ll spot anime references scattered throughout if you’re into that. Fair warning though, the game recently switched to Godot engine so they had to reset everything. Still feels solid for what it is.

Don’t expect walls of story text here. This is all about the card battles and character building. If you want a deckbuilder that focuses on gameplay over narrative fluff, this one’s worth checking out.
