Eternum GAME
Eternum hits different if you’re into dark sci-fi stories that don’t pull punches. You play as Auren Thal, basically a space bounty hunter who captures alien creatures for corporate zoos instead of people. Sounds simple enough until you start finding out what Zoolithic Exchange is really up to.
The text-based format works really well here. You’re exploring these creepy alien worlds, collecting weird lifeforms, and slowly uncovering some seriously messed up corporate secrets. The writing is solid and the atmosphere gets genuinely unsettling as you dig deeper into forgotten star systems.
Fair warning though, this is still early development so expect rough edges. But if you like story-heavy games with moral gray areas and don’t mind reading instead of flashy graphics, this one’s worth checking out.
