Driftborne Ep.1.2 (English)

Driftborne hits you with some seriously dark storytelling right from the start. This isn’t your typical feel-good adventure game. You’re playing as someone who’s been completely screwed over by life and mysterious forces from the past.

The whole setup feels genuinely bleak in a good way. Your character has been through hell, lost everything that mattered, and now you’re stuck in some forgotten wasteland trying to rebuild from basically nothing. The writing doesn’t pull punches about how rough things are.

What makes it interesting is how it focuses on finding the few people left who still give a damn about you. It’s all about carving out something new when your old life got completely destroyed. Jamleng Games clearly went for emotional weight over flashy action here.
