Playing as the villain for once felt refreshing when I booted up Dr Bimbo Portal, especially since you’re literally stepping into Bowser’s spiky shell instead of chasing after him. The whole “forget the hero’s path” angle actually delivers on its promise, giving you control over the King of Koopas in what feels like a completely different perspective on familiar territory.
