Devil’S Gambit 0.14 (English)

Devil’s Gambit puts you in the paws of Hector, a badger healer coming back to his hometown after years away. This isn’t your typical fantasy RPG though, it’s more about memories and relationships than fighting monsters.

The story centers around Hector reconnecting with the wolves he grew up with, especially Cadgan, a troublemaker wolf who clearly meant a lot to him. The town of Rannai feels lived-in and real, with that nostalgic vibe when you revisit childhood places. The writing hits different when Hector remembers the old stories and morning mist.

It’s a slower-paced game that focuses on character development over action. If you’re into emotional storytelling with anthropomorphic characters, this one’s worth checking out. Just don’t expect combat every five minutes.
