Dear Space throws you into a nightmare scenario aboard a massive mining ship called Stone Virrage. You play as Euclid, a guy who shows up to fix some tram systems for his girlfriend Crow, only to find the entire ship overrun by monsters created by something called EX Cells.

The twist hits hard when you discover Crow has become the source of infection, now calling herself Mother and commanding a bunch of mutated crew members called Monmusu. The whole thing takes place inside this claustrophobic starship where everyone wants to either kill you or worse. You get this prototype wave cannon that can actually hurt these things, but the emotional weight of having to fight your transformed lover makes every encounter brutal.

PigExplorers really nailed the hopeless atmosphere here. The ship feels genuinely haunted and every corridor could be your last. Fair warning though, this one gets pretty intense with its adult content mixed into the horror elements.
