Bubbles and Babes GAME
Bubbles and Babes caught my attention on itch.io and honestly I wasn’t expecting much — adult visual novels on indie platforms can be hit or miss — but this one actually put in some effort where it counts. The fully voiced dialogue is a big deal here. Hearing actual voice acting instead of reading walls of silent text makes the characters feel way more alive than your average VN.
Characters You Actually Want to Spend Time With
Each character has a distinct personality, and the interactions feel less like a checklist and more like actual conversations. The animated scenes are smooth enough that they don’t kill the mood, which is something a lot of similar games fumble badly. Exploring freely and choosing how you engage with different characters gives it a decent amount of replay value too.
I played the unlocked version with full features available from the start, which honestly removes any frustration of hitting paywalls right before the good stuff. Made the pacing feel a lot more natural as I went through different routes.
My honest criticism? The overall story between encounters is pretty thin. If you’re coming for deep narrative, this isn’t it. But if you just want a chill adult VN with voice acting and some actual animation quality behind it, Bubbles and Babes delivers exactly what it promises without overcomplicating things.
