Gangstar Syndicate: Crime War puts you in the shoes of Luna Virelith, an AEGIS agent going deep undercover to take down the crime syndicates tearing apart Neo Elysia. What starts as a straightforward mission gets messy fast when she has to infiltrate the Nox Syndicate from the inside.

The story hooks you right away with Luna and her partner Aiden diving into some seriously dark territory. You can tell the developers at Azienda put real thought into the plot setup. Neo Elysia feels like a properly corrupt city where everything’s falling apart, and Luna’s not your typical goody-two-shoes hero.

The big question hanging over everything is whether Luna will come out of this undercover job as the same person. That kind of moral corruption angle usually makes for some interesting character development if done right.
