Alternate Existence throws you into the shoes of a 22-year-old guy with zero clues about his past. No parents, bounced through foster care, and living a pretty crappy life until some mysterious dude offers him a way out. Sounds too good to be true, right?

The whole setup screams “there’s definitely a catch” but that’s what makes it interesting. You get to uncover what really happened during that incident that ended his foster care days and figure out what this stranger actually wants. MrKnobb did a solid job building up the mystery without giving away too much.

If you’re into story-heavy games where the main character has serious trust issues and a sketchy past, this one’s worth checking out. Just don’t expect everything to be sunshine and rainbows.
