A Simple Life With My Unobtrusive Sister throws you into a weird mix of cozy domestic life and intense dungeon crawling. You’re playing as a guy who lives with his sister and needs to cure her mysterious condition by finding materials to craft some kind of special red elixir. The catch? You’re racing against time or something bad happens to her.

The game combines roguelike dungeon runs with open world exploration and action combat. Between your adventures in the Abyss, you get these slice-of-life moments at home with your sister. The time pressure actually makes the dungeon runs feel more urgent than your typical RPG grind.

Fair warning though, this comes from Countercurrent Tea Party so expect some quirky Japanese game design choices. The art style is solid and having full Japanese voice acting is a nice touch. Worth checking out if you want something different from the usual fantasy RPG formula.
