Renryuu: Ascension puts you in the boots of Ryen, a half-dragon hybrid who suddenly finds himself crowned king after some wild events. What starts as a typical fantasy setup quickly turns into something way more complex as you juggle running a kingdom while dealing with problems both inside your borders and beyond.

The game mixes traditional RPG elements with kingdom management in a pretty solid way. You’ll spend time in your castle handling royal duties, but also venture out to personally tackle various crises. Ryen’s dual nature as dragon and human adds some interesting flavor to both combat and story moments.

Available on pretty much every platform you can think of, so no excuses there. If you’re into fantasy RPGs with a bit of political drama mixed in, this one’s worth checking out.
