He Took Mine puts you in the middle of a summer that goes completely sideways for Kazuhisa, who has a crush on his classmate Yuna but can’t work up the nerve to tell her. Things get complicated when Yuna ends up babysitting Masahiko, some rich kid who turns out to be a complete nightmare.

When the Rich Kid Shows Up and Ruins Everything

Dekatamago built this around that specific frustration of watching someone you care about deal with an awful person. Masahiko isn’t just rude, he’s actively terrible, and Yuna has no idea how to handle him. The setup feels familiar but the execution gets under your skin in the right way.

The game runs about 30 minutes to an hour depending on how much you explore the different paths. The art does a good job showing character personalities without beating you over the head with it. Yuna’s inexperience with difficult people becomes obvious pretty quickly, and you can see where things are headed even when she can’t.
