God Of Love And Loathing puts you in the shoes of an ancient deity who’s been locked away for millennia, only to wake up in the modern world thanks to their last remaining follower. Talk about culture shock.

The premise is pretty solid – you’re this primordial god trying to figure out how the world works now while dealing with whoever brought you back. Etherial Dreamer has built something interesting here with the whole “ancient power meets modern times” angle. The story explores what happens when old divine powers clash with today’s reality.

It’s still in development but shows real promise. If you’re into mythology mixed with contemporary settings, this one’s worth checking out. The developer seems committed to regular updates too.
