Exploding Catgirls takes the classic Exploding Kittens card game and throws it into a warzone with anime girls. The concept sounds weird but somehow it works pretty well as a tactical card game with some adult themes mixed in.

When Card Games Meet Combat Zones

You’re managing a squad of catgirls through dangerous missions using card-based gameplay. The core mechanics revolve around avoiding those deadly exploding cards while using your hand to activate skills and complete objectives. The luck factor can be brutal sometimes, but that’s part of the challenge.

Fair warning though, this isn’t just cute anime girls playing cards. The game gets dark with the whole prisoner/breeding stock storyline involving orc enemies. If you’re looking for something wholesome, look elsewhere. But if you want a unique mix of strategy card gameplay with adult content and don’t mind the darker themes, it’s worth trying out. The poker elements add another layer of strategy beyond the basic Exploding Kittens formula.
