Clean Slate gives you exactly what the title promises – a complete do-over where literally everything is on the table, including your character’s gender. The setup is simple but opens up tons of possibilities as you navigate this new life without much hand-holding.

This is pure sandbox territory, so don’t expect quest markers pointing you everywhere. You’re thrown into the world and expected to figure things out yourself, which honestly makes the discoveries feel more rewarding. The gender transformation element adds an interesting twist that most life sim games don’t touch.

Fair warning though – the lack of a main storyline means you really need to be the type of player who enjoys making your own fun. If you need constant direction, this might frustrate you. But if you like experimenting with different life paths and seeing where random choices lead, it’s worth checking out.
