City of Secrets starts simple enough – Emma heads off to college in a new city like any normal student. But things get weird fast when she starts having these intense recurring dreams that somehow start bleeding into real life.

What makes this game stand out is how the dream sequences actually tie into the main plot. Emma gets pulled into some kind of supernatural contract that puts her soul at risk, and you have to help her figure out what’s going on. There’s this shadowy organization pulling strings behind the scenes, and the supporting characters aren’t always who they seem to be.

The story hits different because it mixes college life with supernatural thriller elements. Developer TheDarkLight did a solid job making the mystery feel genuine rather than just throwing random plot twists at you.
