Become Taxi Driver puts you in the shoes of a 26-year-old shut-in whose life completely changes when he gets his hands on a mystical amulet. The twist? There’s a veteran female taxi driver’s soul trapped inside, and she becomes your mentor in learning the taxi business.

The car customization system is pretty solid. You can upgrade brakes for safety, boost your luck stat if you’re superstitious, or soup up the engine for speed demons. The ghost lady guide angle is definitely unique and keeps things interesting as you work your way up from rookie to hopefully the best driver in town.

It’s got that classic “start from nothing and build your reputation” gameplay loop that works well. Plus the supernatural mentor twist keeps it from being just another generic driving sim.
