Axyn GAME
Axyn delivers that classic 3D platformer vibe you’ve been missing. The story follows Axyn searching for the missing Prince Heald in some ancient ruins, but honestly the plot takes a backseat to the solid gameplay mechanics.
What makes this one stand out is the movement system. You get a decent variety of abilities to navigate the open levels, and collecting items actually feels rewarding since it unlocks new content. Your companions Yunn and Leaf tag along for the adventure, though they’re more like helpful sidekicks than full party members.
The retro aesthetic works well here. Nothing groundbreaking, but if you enjoyed platformers from the early 2000s, this scratches that same itch. Developer Shinlalala clearly knows what they’re doing with the level design.
