A House In The Rift starts with you getting tossed into some weird dimensional space with zero clue what happened. Zanith built something that feels like a mix between a cozy life sim and interdimensional exploration, where you end up sharing this strange refuge with girls from completely different realities.

The day-night cycle keeps things interesting. During the day you hang out with your dimensional roommates, doing surprisingly normal stuff like cooking or studying magic with an acolyte. Then night hits and you venture into weird rift zones that change the whole vibe. The pirate captain wrestling scenes are worth mentioning because they get pretty intense.

Each girl comes from her own fantasy world with different backstories and personalities that actually matter. The relationship building feels gradual rather than rushed, and the adult content ties into character development instead of just existing for its own sake. The exploration elements add some variety when you need a break from the slice-of-life parts. Zanith managed to balance the cozy domestic scenes with the mysterious rift stuff pretty well.
